Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be on 12th December. We need to have a President Elect by that date so please give some thought to nominating for the job. We also need a President Nominee for the year 2025-26 if that suits you better.
MUSIC ON THE BRAIN A HUGE SUCCESS
What a fantastic night at the Kalamunda Performing Arts Centre.
Just about a sell out with 185 attending, Details of profit for the night at tonights meeting but a very tidy sum raised to go the music programs of Kalamunda and Lesmurdie High Schools
Very well done Lisa Beeby for the idea and excellent management.
NOVEMBER MARKET
Near to a full house for stalls and a good public attendance made the November Market a very successful event. The big December Market is coming up so mark your diary for the 2nd December.
Lisa needs your bookings now as the Packing Shed have a deadline,
Did You Know:
Contrary to popular belief, the world is not falling apart.
Reports of fires have filled the news lately. In fact the annual burned global area has been declining for decades reaching the lowest last year.
Likewise deaths from drought and floods are reported but deaths from such climate related disasters have declined 50-fold across the last century.
In fact the world has improved dramatically. Life expectancy has more than doubled since 1900

The Rotary Club of Kalamunda and its members acknowledge the traditional owners of the land we meet on, the Whadjuk peoples of the Noongar Nations and we pay our respect to their leaders, past, present and emerging.
