Message from incoming President Liz
Club members are notified of the upcoming AGM on Tuesday 9th December at the Kalamunda Hotel.
As the incoming President for 2026/2027, I am seeking volunteers to support the Club and step into Board/Director roles as of July 2026.
For those of you who have been part of Rotary for a while, I believe that steering away from the Committee structure has alienated some of our members and created burn out for those who continually step into leadership roles.
For this reason, I’d like to bring back the Committee structure for the above roles and request Committee Chairs to lead and then club members to self-allocate to each Committee based on their interests.
I believe that this will increase member and community engagement, allow for more local projects, and support the people who want to make a difference by giving them purpose. It will also create a sense of pride in our club which may lead to more members!
When considering one of the roles below, please know you’ll be fully supported. I’m excited to see what our wonderful members can achieve together with clear communication, positive conduct, and mutual respect within a productive committee.
Liz
