LAST MEETING
An interesting presentation on the Rotary Foundation which is of great value to all of us as it is the international public face of Rotary to which all Clubs contribute. It is the source of funding for big worldwide programs such as Polio Plus and is also available to us for local/international District projects
 
NEXT MEETING
At the Lesmurdie Club 6 for 6.30. Meals available
This is a business meeting and we have a number of items to consider as we start the new Rotary year with President Lisa.
Items to be discussed include:
   President Lisa's plans for the year
   Community PH Fellowships
   A joint club meeting with the DG
   A Club workshop on the operation and future of our market.
   The 25/26 Club budget and membership dues

Paul Harris Award Nominations for worthy Community workers have been called for by the Club. If you know of a possible candidate please consider nominating them. The award/s will be made at a special meeting in August.

We are about to change over to " Clubrunner Nova " which is the new version of Clubrunner. There is a lot of info on-line about this (search Clubrunner Nova) so if you have an interest I want to hear from you.

World Music Cafe are back for another night of international cuisine and stunning musicianship. Kalamunda Agricultural Hall will be transformed into a Banquet Hall and the stage will be set … check out the fantastic international talent that will be performing!

The Banquet:

A unique highlight of the World Music Café ‘Dinner & Show’ events is the delicious three-course menu created by Venezuelan chef, Tamara Rodriguez and her Casa Latina catering team. World Music Café is a successful social enterprise established in 2019, that provides genuine economic and social inclusion for the crew of new migrant and refugee backgrounds and is described by the UWA Centre for Social Impact as ‘An Oasis of Integration in Our Country’.

The Music:    

The World Music Café presents a spectacular world music concert with Slide Summit, featuring legendary pedal steel player Lucky Oceans and Indian sarod maestro Praashekh Borkar, plus Latin jazz ensemble Novos Ares, in the ambient Kalamunda Agricultural Hall.
