President Brian welcomed everyone and was glad to be back. He congratulated the Chef on the delicious Roast and said it was great to be back with a face to face meeting at the new  venue, the Lesmurdie Club. He thanked Paul, Franziska and Kaye on looking after the meetings and congratulated Kaye on her nomination as President. He informed members that they could sign up to the Virtual R I Conference which would be available until mid July.
He was looking forward to having the Artisan Markets back on Saturday. He also mentioned that our Rotaracters suggested a Project which involved doing up our Rotary signs with funding from our Club.

President Elect Kaye updated the Club on this months Market. Great response from Facebook once the actual confirmation of the event was posted and said that a new Instagram page is being developed.  All local shops are delighted the Markets are happening. COVID 19 restrictions still apply--2m rule so only 2/3 of Stalls will be operating.  In our Marquee 2m rule also applies.

The attending members agreed to continue having the meetings at the Lesmurdie Club and also as the venue for this year's Change over. It was agreed to do a "Chef's Choice" Dinner that will cost the members $25.00. A fee of $5 is being charged for members that are attending, but are not eating.

It was discussed that only selected speakers will be invited that are directly associated with a project. After further discussion, it was agreed that maybe once every 3 months a guest speaker that will do a show and tell, or is teaching something will be invited. The members also liked the idea of having a Zoom Meeting once every 2 months, giving us access from a wider National and International field. Topics for presentations could be varied and involving local Communities eg SES, Local History etc. not necessarily with Rotary connections. Kaye asked for members to come up with ideas for speakers.
Proposed new Board Structure was outlined (Board structure was published in last bulletin)

President Brian informed members he was doing Dry July and monies raised would go to Cancer Research.
